Questions we hear from real estate professionals:
"I get my aerials free off of the
internet. Why should I pay you for them?"
"I can't order aerials - that kind of stuff is
handled by our marketing department."
Questions we hear from contractors and developers:
"My people are on site every day. They
take pictures when they need to. Why do I need
aerials?"
"We only do interior work. We don't need
aerials."
Other questions we hear:
"I'm neither a real estate professional, a
developer, nor a contractor. Why would I need aerial
photos?"
"Aren't aerial photos expensive?"
"Alright, they're not as expensive as I thought,
but this guy is cheaper. Why is that?"
"OK, you've convinced me. I need your professional services.

Why should I use you instead of another professional?"

"I get my aerials free off of the internet. Why
should I pay you for them?"
There are many reasons. First of all, images from
the internet are often out dated. Showing your clients or customers
what the site looks like today is very important (just ask
them!).
Internet images are also of much lower resolution than you can get
from us. Our photos are taken with top of the line equipment
and are razor sharp. You can use the same photo to show your overall
site as well as its key features or selling points in great detail just
by zooming in on them.
But don't take our word for it -
difference for yourself! (And even that photo isn't shown at the full
resolution we can provide!)
Custom aerials can really help you differentiate your site
from the others. Custom aerials can also give your site instant
credibility (as in "Wow - they did aerials - this must be a special
site!") and set it apart from the others. Here's a little secret -
your competition is already
showing its customers beautiful custom aerials of their sites.
Why aren't you?
Finally, if someone doesn't even bother to look at your site because
they didn't see a key feature or selling point in your picture,
how much would you say that "free" picture really cost you?

"I can't order aerials - that kind of stuff is
handled by our marketing department."
I know, that's not really a question, but it merits a response...
This is GREAT news! When one person or department orders aerials for
everyone, it really saves the company money. Talk to your peers and
get a list of everyone's highest priority sites together. Talk to
the boss and and ask if it would be OK for the marketing department
to get a free quote. Quotes are absolutely free - there is no money
or risk invovled. Quotes come with no obligation whatsoever.
Whether your marketing department calls with a list of 3 or 5 or 200
sites, we feel that your company will be surprised at just how
inexpensive and cost effective custom aerials can be.
Our regular prices are low already, but the more sites you have,
the more efficient we can be. We pass those savings on to you.
Not only will you get your aerials, but so will your peers - they'll
love you and the boss will think you're a genius for negotiating
such a great deal on this valuable marketing tool!
Here's a real life example - we recently quoted a job involving
20 sites and over 1000 miles total flying distance. The average cost
per site was less than we could charge for a single site in our
own backyard.

"My people are on site every day. They take pictures
when they need to. Why do I need aerials?"
There are many reasons. First of all, your people on the
ground are great and you need their photos, too. (I actually
was one of those people taking pictures of construction
progress on the ground for over 10 years!). Unfortunately,
no one on the ground can possibly see everything at once
no matter how good I was... er, I mean, no matter how good
they are!
Of course, you could have them spend their valuable time
running around the site taking 200 pictures and hope they
cover everything. Then, you could spend YOUR valuable time
looking at all 200 pictures, and hope you'd be able to get an
overall idea of where your project stands.
-- OR --
You could let us take 4 or 8 photos from the air from all
around the site. Then, at a glance, you could see how ALL
of the components of your project are coming along.
See what we mean for yourself!
for some samples and options of what you can get when you
order progress shots from us.
Another good reason to have progress shots is for dispute
resolution. How many projects have you been involved with where
the timeline slipped because someone did not finish their part
of the job? For example, one sub-contractor claims they were late
with their part because another sub was not finished with their
task on time. By reviewing your progress shots, you'll know
immediately if the claim is valid or not. Photographic evidence
ends disputes quickly.
Even better than resolving disputes - why not head them
off completely before they arise? Aerials make it obvious when
one part of the project starts falling behind the others. With
aerials at your disposal, you and your project managers can
proactively deal with issues before they become
problems.
Finally, keep in mind that you will only ever have one chance to
have progress shots taken. A set of progress shots makes a good
historical reference. Weekly or monthly shots not in the budget?
A photo at each major milestone makes a nice set, too. At
a minimum, you might consider having us shoot "before and
after" photos. Show everyone just what you accomplished!

"We only do interior work. We don't need aerials."
Again, not exactly a question, but that's a really good point.
Fortunately, our name - "Above All Aerial & Specialty
Photography - is not just a name. It really describes
what we do. Yes, our primary service is aerials, but we do ground and
interior photos as well! We can really give you a complete picture
of your project (pun intended!).
Go ahead - order some pictures of that beautiful interior work you
just finished up! You deserve to show it off to the world, too!

"I'm neither a real estate professional, a developer, nor a
contractor. Why would I need aerial photos?"
Another great question! Our
list of clients is long and diverse.
Architects use us to photograph their marquee projects. Aerials make
great gifts for clients - clients that will remember them when their
next project comes up. Or, they use them when preparing proposals for
their next big job.
Lawyers, law enforcement professionals, and insurance companies
use us to photograph accident or crime scenes. We can respond very
quickly, which may be crucial in documenting the site at a
particular point in time.
Utility companies and economic development agencies use us to
photograph sites to show to businesses thinking about moving into the
area the advantages their sites can offer. Or, they may want to
show a site's relationship to the surrounding area.
Roofing companies use us because, well, how else is anyone
going to see their handiwork?
Finally, some people just want a nice picture of something
to hang on their wall. Aerials make great conversation pieces. Aerials
almost always stop people in their tracks for a closer look.
(Incidentally, in regards to that last point, marketing
professionals and those in the hospitality industry may
want to check out our sister company's web site for information on
an exciting
new product. Please let them know you heard about it from us!)

"Aren't aerial photos expensive?"
That may be someone else's opinion, but we respectfully
disagree.
"Expensive" is an extremely relative word
and if you are deciding whether or not something is truly expensive,
you can't just look at the price tag.
An aerial photo is going
to be a tiny fraction of one percent of the price of the site or
the cost of the construction. If that aerial helps sell the site
faster, or helps settle a construction dispute in minutes rather
than days or weeks, it may be the biggest bargain you've ever
purchased (plus, you'll look like a hero!).
There is no cost, risk, or obligation in getting a quote from us.
Get a quote first; make the decision second. There is absolutely
no need to make a decision based on anything but the facts. Due
diligence is essential and quotes are fast and free.

"Alright, they're not as expensive as I thought,
but this guy is cheaper. Why is that?"
This is related to the next question, but we thought it deserved
it's own response.
Yes, there are people out there who are willing to take aerial
photos for you cheaper than we can. They may do aerial photography
on the side, or as a hobby, or in conjunction with their day job.
Some people have a pilot's license and a mid-range camera and are
just looking for someone else to pay for their gas or hourly rental
of the plane.
We can not compete with those people on price, honestly. But make
no mistake -- they can not compete with us on quality or service!
We are professional photographers and this is our only business.
We are properly trained, licensed, and insured. We use the
absolute best cameras, lenses, and other equipment available.
We offer superior service - we respond quickly and can take photos
any day (or night!) that conditions allow. We don't have to wait
for the weekend or a holiday.
We also won't just give you a pile of photos at the end of the day.
We take time to weed out the bad ones (yes, even professionals
occasionally miss the shot!) and process the others to make sure
they are ready for you when you receive them. You won't have to
spend your time or other resources making basic adjustments - we
do the grunt work for
you so you can use the photos immediately.
We take care of our customers because our livelihood depends on
them. We appreciate the fact that you are spending hard-earned money
and you should expect a high quality product in return. You are
guaranteed to get it with us, or you won't
part with your money at all!
Finally, let's look at it this way: if you are a real estate professional,
and I am interested in buying or selling a property, what would you
tell me if I said I would rather use a guy who sells real estate
on the side, because he's going to save me 50 bucks?
If you are a contractor, what would you tell me if I said I'd rather
build my house myself so I could save a little money? If you were a lawyer,
what would you say if I told you I'd rather get my legal advice
from someone who just kind of dabbles in law in his spare time?
That's what I thought...

"OK, you've convinced me. I need your professional services. Why
should I use you instead of another professional?"
This is perhaps the most difficult question to answer as there
are actually a number of good aerial photographers out there.
First of all, Above All Photography has been in business since 1993
and has 3 separate offices to serve the Midwest efficiently. We
couldn't exist on that scale without a lot of loyal and satisfied
customers.
Second, make no mistake - our photos are great, but our service is
our primary product. We take care of our customers - we respond quickly
and correctly. We offer a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We take time
to learn what you need from the photos before we ever turn the
propeller. If you're not happy with your photos, we'll find out why
and re-shoot them at no additional cost to you.
Next, our prices are competitive, but the value you get with us is
outstanding. When comparing us to other professional aerial
photographers, be sure to compare what you get for your money, not
just the dollar amount on the quotes. When you choose us,
you're not buying photos. You're hiring us to fill a need.
You hire us to document your site or project. We will take as many
pictures as is necessary to accomplish your objectives - and
they will all be yours for the price we quoted. Typically, that's
15-20 photos per site, but if you want 100, we'll get them. Again,
our primary product is our service.
Finally, and most importantly, the only good reason to hire us is
that we promise to do our best to meet your needs and exceed
your expectations. Give us a try - compare our service and our
photos with another company's and experience the difference for
yourself. To make it easier for you to give us a chance,
we will match or beat anyone's price on your first order.
All you have to do is ask.
Call us today and ask us what we can do for you!
