When electrical components fail, the results are often dangerous and sometimes catastrophic. Fortunately, an infrared assessment of an electrical panel, a substation, or any other electrical power transmission component can quickly expose potential problems. Loose connections and failing components generate heat, often times long before they fail. Depending on the severity, the components can be checked immediately or at the next scheduled downtime.

After completing an inspection, Above All - Ohio will prepare a concise yet detailed report of all inspected components and recommend what actions should be taken as needed. Of course, if we feel there are any dangerous conditions, we will let you know immediately!

The National Fire Protection Agency (NFPA) in section 70B strongly recommends regular inspections (at least annually) of energized electrical systems. More frequent inspections are recommended when new equipment is installed, if certain components have previously failed, or if changes are made to the operational or load conditions. Please give us a call if we can be of service for your Electrical Preventative Maintenance (EPM) program.
